About Justin
Justin Schulz joined as Partner of BIC Construction in 2018 and was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. Justin received his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He leverages his 23 years of construction experience at BIC in several departments, including safety, marketing, estimating and project management. Justin is proud of the Lincoln community, having served on the Lincoln Builders Bureau Board for the past 6 years and he is an avid Husker fan.
We asked Justin:
What is your favorite hobby?
I enjoy golf or outdoor activities. Anything that I can do with family or friends I truly enjoy.
What’s something you’d say to someone interested in construction?
Construction allows you to work on unique projects all the time, no 2 projects are exactly the same. You will have the opportunity to meet many different people from architects, owners and subcontractors.
Do you have a favorite construction project? What makes it memorable?
I enjoy the projects that are more complex and challenging and require collaboration and a team approach. I am a people person and working together with design teams, subcontractors, our people, and owners is rewarding to me.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
The ability to fly (really fast) would be pretty cool.
What is your favorite part about construction?
I enjoy seeing the end users enjoy the spaces we have helped create. I love seeing a job from start to finish, whether that is from the ground up or on a remodel from demo to final completion.
